Monster Island is the moniker of The Asylum’s 2019 mockbuster. It was ironically published around the time of Godzilla King of the Monsters. Monster Island is a story about Monster Island. It is where a monster can sometimes be found.


Due to the fact that this is a film about an asylum, it has a budget comparable to that of a large kid's meal and makes economical use of its resources by concentrating on a small number of human characters and keeping the film's big names in a single location so that they can shoot all of their scenes during a single lunch break. The Asylum may not do an awful job considering that it is a work in kaiju.
